About Us

We, Darryl Chavez and Cynthia Lucero-Chavez, owners of Quality Expectations, are native Californians transplanted to Virginia by way of the United States Marine Corps. For over 20 years we have been committed to our local community.
Our intent when starting our business was to GIVE BACK to our local community. We’re able to do so by serving as volunteers for various agencies, support community dinners and lunches that support those in need, donate funding to local agencies that support folks that are experiencing homelessness and offer pro-bono services.
We have, throughout the years, served as mentors to young adults that are interested in exploring the many careers within the construction field.
Quality Expectations was developed on the notion of the customer being the priority. We, Darryl and Cynthia, wanted to bring back some of the old-time customer service that has somehow gotten lost during the age of technology.
We felt that we could effortlessly merge old and new by still greeting the customer with a smile and a handshake while assuring that their estimates and communication methods are timely with the use of modern technology. Meeting with the customer, understanding their needs, and working with them to provide them with the craftsmanship that they expect is what we provide. Together, along with our sons Rene and Kyal, we have built a family business that is meeting the needs of our community one project at a time.

Quality Expectations is a fully insured, bonded, Class-A Residential Building Contractor licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia that offers a full range of services throughout Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Garrisonville, Fauquier, Woodbridge, Dumfries, and Triangle, VA.
